Cards!!!

So our family (the kiddies and I ) put entries in a fair each year, sometimes it drawings, crafts, cards etc. So this year I entered some cards- they have 2 categories, one with computer or cutting machines and one without so I did a Christmas card with and without and an Anniversary card with and without. I think they turned out pretty good. We will see today actually if I won anything for them, we are off to the fair later. Unfortunately it is pouring rain so it will be a quick trip!! I also made a centrepiece for a table. Mine is probably very nontraditional, but I LOVE IT!

This file is also from #Svgcuts 3D alphabet file shrunk them down and added lots of cuteness to serve as a  table centrepiece!

Quick update- I ended up winning ribbons for 4/5 of these- and two of them were 1st place!

This is one of my favourite files from #Svgcuts - its so useful! Made this for my daughters friend filled with little candies. She loved it !

Whoo Hoo!

So I just found out I won a $20 gift certificate for one of my favourite svg sites www.Svgattic.com. I just don't know what I will buy because I have most of their files. Hello Kitty Blog Hop

 So many crafty blogs have these "hops" which I am just figuring out and starting to participate in. So a week or so ago I hopped along on a blog hosted by Svgcuttingfiles.com . I got some really cute files for participating and hopping along. Here is one of the files I got and made a card for a relative of mine who has not been well. I also used the same file and added a pair of glasses (which was in another file I got as well) and sent that card to my niece who is starting her 3rd year in nursing. Too cute I tell ya!

Ok, my skills have improved both craft wise and blog wise! So now that I am posting on a very regular basis on my facebook page, I am going to promise myself that I will also update this as much as I possibly can or I will never be famous! Just kidding!! I visit so many craft blogs, I figure why not get mine going? Perhaps I will have some visitors!!

Keep on Keeping on..

Ok come on- I got to get this going! Time just slips away and weeks seem to pass in days! I have just ordered my new Cricut Expression to use with my Sure Cuts Alot ( do you hear me screaming with delight?!) and it shall arrive in mere days! This opens everything up for me I am telling you what! I have the Circut Create and I love the little bugger but I need BIGGER! (insert Michael Scott line here). So in honor of my new baby arriving I am going to post my first SVG its just welded words- but it is hilarious and I will be making a card using this phrase for my sister to give her beau for his upcoming birthday. So my three little pigs and I are also bust these days with making our entries for the Markham Fair. Last year my daughter won 2nd and 4th prize and now the boys want some of that action! So we are all entering 4 things! So after this Tuesday I will have a little more time- oh but then there is Halloween coming up ( shrieeek!!) and I am doing the decorations and helping to plan out 2 parties one for adults one for kids and well how convenient that my new cricut will be arriving shortly to help me with all of this.. eeekkk!! So so so excited!!! Ok Ok so- I promise I will post my first svg BEFORE my baby comes- because well, obviously I will be spending the first few days playing with it and testing out everything! Can-not wait!!!!! So check back in a day or so- I will do my best- I am just trying to figure out what file hosting site I would rather use.
